Valle di Tures e Aurina in the Val Pusteria

Diversified, colorful and an oasis of quietness in the middle of nearly
untouched nature – this is how one could best describe the Valle
Aurina in the fascinating holiday region Pusteria.
Here, in the northeast of South Tyrol hiking is very popular. So
it’s not without good reason that this region is the home of the extreme
mountaineer Hans Kammerlander. Mighty peaks which reach up to
over 3.000 meters, mountain huts wrapped in colorful flowerage,
vast fields which invite you to take a walk – nature lovers coming to
the Aurina valley can’t wish for more.
In winter when snow storms cover mountain tops and fields with a
sparkling white the time for winter sportsmen has arrived and this
Pusteria side valley provides the best conditions for ski fans.
This is a time when young and old enjoy skiing on the slopes of the ski
resorts Speikboden or Klausberg, when they explore the 80
km network of cross-country ski tracks, stock up on energy on romantic
winter walks or take delight in sledging.
Also from a culinary point of view the Aurina valley knows how to
impress its guests: Down-to-earth delicacies from the Pusteria valley as
well as international dishes will spoil your palate.
